As a freelancer, my work has appeared in NPR and frequently on local NPR affiliate WKSU ideastream public radio as well as in The New York Times, cleveland.com and The Plain Dealer, Cleveland Magazine, Refinery 29, and on the third season of the Serial podcast.
Before becoming a freelancer, I covered Cuyahoga County Common Pleas Court for cleveland.com and the Plain Dealer. I also covered education for NPR's StateImpact Ohio and produced The Sound of Ideas on WCPN 90.3, ideastream. Prior to that I was a political reporter for Capitol Public Radio in Sacramento, CA.
